I just finished my 1st PSFC class (Piano School for children group class) for Angie's class. Before class i was nervours but all prepared. Beey encourage me to be confident and cheer me up. Thanks ya darling. Luv ya.
So how's my class??... Hmm ok. I kinda push them too much, trying too hard to keep up with the lesson plan. Angie observed my class and she advised me to do slow enjoy it and as long the kids are comfortable and able to do their repertoire .. just take my time. Always observe the kids and have a 360degree view on them... and she encourage me on be firm on them too. I Kinda happy to have a friend like her. Thanks Ya Angie.. i will take good care of ur kids for this 4 weeks. Enjoy ur trip ya :)
Well let me share this... my instructor's (LS) comments on me when i first attend this PSFC training on April 7th......Exact words from her :~
"Had difficulty handling the teaching methods. Do keep practising so as to conduct teaching method steadily, confidently and spontaneously. Work also on singing and playing more musically. Please aim to learn as much as you can especially so with this content. Try not to have excuses or defensive. There is still room to grow in the knowledge of teaching and music. "
I taught that ---(She thinks i am a lousy singer and i am not musical..hmm an yamaha trainer judge me in a way)... My heart really sank when i read her comments. Hmmm I Didn't argue about her teaching, i didn't really ask any defensive questions. I just had difficulties trying to do the solfege singing coz i see my boss sat there behind observing our progress while i was asked to do it spontaneously ... I was so nervous and i didn't do well. The more i try the worse it become. Instead of being encourage.. i felt bad.
Now i know why everybody have their own class but i don't get. Well looking at the bright side... i have all the time to learn no need to rush, best of all God sent me a good positive and encouraging mentol. It doesnt matter how people see u or judge u. I will try my best ... as "I can do all things through Christ that strengthen me." :)

what exactly do you mean when you say, "... encouraging mentol". Whats mentol?
The only good english I read on this blog entry is the excerpt from Loreta soosay. I would certainly take notice of her observations.
Just a point to ponder.
You should take the instructor's comments positively. The comments are made to help you improve your teaching skills. You also shouldn't assume to know what the instructor thinks.
Anyway, if you are good teacher, your reputation should speak for you. Some advise though, before you embark on an English language blog, get some English lessons. It also would be quite telling to find out what language you teach in.
Yes very correct what Musytari and the other person said. I suggest you take what the instructor told you as a positive criticism. It will make you a better person in years to come in your profession. Keep at it.
Ya my English wasn't superb but thanks for all the comment. I have tried to take my instructor's comment positively and just try my best in the reasoned PSFC training. well second class seems better :)
